I am by name Nirav Akbari, A self-made software developer who is always exploring and then evolving, whose first love is trekking and photography but doesn't know any of it! Also, a competitive coding enthusiast who eats sleep and repeats beautiful algorithms and data structures.

Coming from a tier 3 college, I have struggled a lot during my initial phase, and that has resulted in a vast amount of knowledge, which has also helped me in developing fighting skills in any situation in my life.

  • Provisioned a spring batch to migrate 150k files per month from 1 SFTP server to another SFTP server.
  • Collaborated with different stakeholders like the product, business, CITI bank and other infra teams for the launch of the FIRC program in India.
  • Helped enable Brazil PIX payment method to send and receive money by creating payment plans and integrating with the PayPal payments platform.
  • Completed s3 migration in less than 48 hours to enable India CBT (Cross Border Transaction) Merchants to continue to get their FIRA reports.
  • Lead the Japan Card Updater project and collaborated with different teams, product and business to automatically update expiring credit cards with new details for an improved customer checkout experience.
  • Interviewed more than 50 candidates across various roles at PayPal in the span of less than a year.
  • Core team member and ally with different groups like myhapPYPLace wellness team, Thrive, Toastmasters, mySafePal, and Pride.

Aruba Networks a HPE Company - Bangalore, India (July 2018 - June 2020)

 Software Designer II - (May 2020 - June 2020)

  • Frontending PVOS Switch (HP Switch) feature development to support configuring Networking Device using Aruba Central.
  • Added features to configure DHCP Snooping, Primary and Management VLAN, User Roles, Devie Profile, etc. for PVOS Switch (HP Switch) using Aruba Central a cloud-based Network Management Solution (NMS).
  • Added functionality to dynamically populate Ports in Aruba Central for Stack Devices based on the number of Switches and Ports per device.

 Software Designer I - (July 2018 - April 2020)

  • Working on RESTful API design concepts using Postgres, Redis and SQLAlchemy in Aruba Central the cloud-based Network Management Solution (NMS).
  • Added functionality to configure SNMP for Aruba and HP switch using Central.
  • Added dashboard feature to monitor the device up/down count based on the sort field.
  • Successfully managed cluster migration from AWS us-west-1 to AWS us-west-2 for 20k Aruba Central customers/tenants.
  • Added functionality to create an automated monthly index in Elastic Search for audit trail and create back up of the same data in Cassandra. Also added the TTL logic for deleting the data.
  • Successfully managed customer data migration (50k customers) from Redis to Postgres.
  • Provisioned Kubernetes Pods for new service using ingress and service yaml and configured Circus confs to control the Watcher.

  • Worked on 3p (Third Party) application performance, functional testing automation, automated performance monitoring, enhancement and stabilization in automation framework for different devices like Fire TV and Fire Tablets etc.
